In House Tooling
Using the latest CAD technology, our tool designers create a robust design that will maximize efficiency in production and promote tool longevity. Cashmere tool designers create computer geometry of the mold which is used by CNC programmers to design the electrodes and create tool paths, which are then downloaded to CNC equipment.
Our highly skilled toolmakers construct molds to ensure they meet and surpass accepted industry standards. Our dedication to project management provides our customers with timely project status updates to ensure on-time mold delivery.
Subcontract Services
Utilizing Cashmere’s subcontract tooling services, CMI customers can take advantage of the in house part design and manufacturing design services we offer. After the design phase is complete, the careful use of subcontracts by CMI engineers, allows our customers access to a variety of manufacturing options. These options include but are not limited to… stack molds, multi-shot molds and… of course, offshore tooling. All molds are purchased through Cashmere and come with our tooling management program and guarantee.
